Updated: Jun 23

Motherhood doesn’t always come with applause. No one claps when you fold laundry, wipe another tear, or comfort a child in the middle of the night. But what if those quiet, unseen moments are the ones that carry eternal impact?

This Mother’s Day, pause and reflect on the truth: your everyday efforts matter deeply.

As a mom, one of the most powerful gifts you can give your children is the habit of daily prayer. Before they step out the door—whether for school, work, or anything in between—take a moment to pray with them. Choose a special spot in your home, maybe near the front door or by the kitchen table, where you pause together and invite God into the day.

And before they go to sleep, close the night with prayer. These small moments practiced daily, create a rhythm of faith that will shape their hearts for life.

You may not feel extraordinary while packing lunches or managing chaos—but in those tasks and in those prayers, you are planting seeds of strength, faith, and love. The world may not notice, but God does. He sees your faithfulness and your desire to lead your children closer to Him.

So today, if you’ve ever felt unseen or undervalued, let this be your reminder: you are doing holy work.
